Daphna Rubin
Award-winning producer, writer, and director, Daphna leads the day-to-day operations of Brave Planet Films. She oversees all aspects of production and development, managing multi-million dollar budgets and international teams. Her work in the field has also spanned the globe—from Sri Lanka, where she spent time with Tamil Tigers, to covering teams investigating the Srebrenica massacre.
Daphna has directed films on topics ranging from the Srebrenica massacre to Yellowstone National Park. She began her career as a local reporter for an NPR affiliate and has since produced content for PBS, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, NBC, the World Bank, and the American Cancer Society.
