An investigation into battles between white-hat and black-hat hackers, including a foiled plot against London's Big Ben Tower.
Our story follows "white-hat" hackers Jayson Street, Darren Kitchen, and Khalil Sehnaoui—security specialists who combine clever coding with "Mission Impossible" style social engineering. They have been hired to plan and execute a brazen hack: getting behind the teller wall and compromising the computers at five branches of one of the largest banks in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, radicalization expert Nafees Hamid tracks down a "black-hat" ISIS hacker in real time, as he works to recruit, arm, and train a disaffected teenager to wage a suicide attack against one of Britain's most iconic tourist destinations. The hacker is following in the footsteps of Junaid Hussein, another young British jihadi who rapidly went from prankster to the head of ISIS's 'cyber command'. There, he skillfully employed the internet and psychological manipulation to coordinate a series of terror attacks in the US and the UK before a CIA drone ended his life on the outskirts of Raqqa.
